Dr. Mary Ann Work: Well, my husband and I were in the military. Out of dental school, we went into the Navy. And we were in San Diego for four years. And then we wanted to live somewhere where there was sunshine. And so we've been in this location since May of 1998, and it's been a great location for us. And so everything we do is consistent with making sure our patients are well taken care of in a fun-loving atmosphere. Dr. Mary Ann Work: Well, one of the things that sets us apart in our practice is the fact that we can pretty much do all of the procedures here in our practice without referring a patient out. Dr. Terry Work: If you need a root canal, we can do it here. If you need a connective tissue graft, we can do it here. Narrator: New patients will receive a full series of radiographs, an oral cancer screening, and a periodontal evaluation, finishing up with a full treatment plan to get you started on your journey to complete dental health. Rob: Well, I think what makes this office unique is the whole package. Dr. Mary Ann Work: We have such a fabulous staff, and our patients are always going out of their way to say how much they appreciate the staff from the front to the back. Francine: The team are exceedingly knowledgeable. Dr. Terry Work: The patients appreciate the fact that they always see the same staff members. Dr. Mary Ann Work: The feedback that we get from our patients that really make us feel really good is that when they say, "You know, I just feel like this is my dental home." You have to have the latest. Dr. Terry Work: I only utilize the dental technology that makes me a better dentist. If I can improve the patient experience, improve the quality of what I'm doing, that's the technology I'm interested in. Dr. Mary Ann Work: Most of the patients will say, "You know, that wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be." Or, "I actually enjoyed my visit, and I was dreading, you know, having to get this done. But it really wasn't bad, and it actually was kind of fun." Dr. Terry Work: It's not about getting a whole bunch of new patients in the door, it's about keeping the ones . . . the patients that you have happy, keeping their experience positive so that patients don't feel compelled to go anywhere else.
