How We Produce High-Quality Dental Work
Precise Planning
Drs. Terry Lee and Mary Ann Work understand that precise treatment planning helps us achieve excellent outcomes. That is why we use digital impressions to capture the most accurate images of your teeth. The skilled ceramicists at our partner lab use these high-resolution images to craft crowns that match our design specifications and offer the most precise fit possible.
Natural-Looking Materials
The crowns we place are made of high-quality materials such as e.max®, zirconia, porcelain, and more. Our dentists will choose the material depending on whether the crown is being placed on the front or back teeth, your cosmetic goals, and your budget. We will also design the crown to complement your surrounding teeth.
More Than 25 Years of Experience
Both of our dentists have been in practice since 1993, and they are committed to continuing education so they can remain skilled in the use of the latest dental tools and technology. They have placed hundreds of dental crowns at their practice serving Scottsdale and Phoenix, giving them the hands-on experience they need to provide you with beautiful results.

Treatment Timeline Placement of Traditional Dental Crowns
At Dental Works, serving patients from Scottsdale, Phoenix, and surrounding areas, patients can expect the following when having a dental crown placed:
Dental Crowns to Replace a Missing Tooth
Dental crowns have many uses in dentistry. In addition to restoring a badly damaged tooth, a dental crown can also replace a single missing tooth. This treatment process involves the placement of a dental implant in the jawbone. Over the next three to six months, the dental implant integrates with the surrounding jawbone, replacing the lost tooth roots and becoming a part of the patient's anatomy.
Once the healing period is complete, a piece of hardware called an abutment is attached to the dental implants. About two weeks later, a custom crown can be attached to the abutment, replacing the missing tooth from the root to the chewing surface.
