Helping You Prepare: Our Most Common Patient FAQs
How do you help patients who feel anxious or fearful about dental visits? Many of our patients come to us with some level of anxiety, and we take that very seriously. We begin by talking through any concerns you may have so we can understand how to best support you. We explain each step in a calm, simple way, check in frequently during treatment, and move at a pace that feels comfortable. We also offer sedation options for patients who need a little extra help relaxing. Our goal is to create an environment that feels welcoming, predictable, and reassuring from the moment you walk in. What can I expect during my first visit as a new patient?Your first visit is designed to be friendly, thorough, and stress-free. We start by getting to know you—your goals, your oral health concerns, and any past dental experiences you want to share. You’ll receive a comprehensive exam, digital X-rays as needed, and a clear explanation of your treatment options. We also review insurance coverage or savings-plan benefits before any additional care is scheduled. Many patients tell us they appreciate how unrushed and informative this first visit feels. What insurance plans do you accept, and can I still be seen if I don’t have dental insurance? We accept many major dental insurance plans, and our front office team is happy to help verify your benefits and file claims on your behalf. If you don’t have insurance, you are absolutely still welcome here. Many of our patients without insurance choose our in-house Dental Savings Program, which offers discounted fees on most services and includes cleanings, exams, X-rays, and more for one annual cost. We believe dental care should be accessible to everyone, with or without traditional coverage. Please call us at (480) 391-0099 for any questions. Do you offer payment plans or an in-house savings program to help make dental care more affordable?Yes. Our Dental Savings Program provides immediate eligibility and includes exams, cleanings, X-rays, and discounted pricing on most treatments—with no deductibles, no waiting periods, and no yearly maximums. We also offer financing options for patients who prefer payment plans. This helps break larger treatment plans into more manageable monthly payments. Patients appreciate knowing that there are flexible options to fit many budgets. What happens if I haven’t been to the dentist in a long time? You are not alone—many patients return to the dentist after several years away. There is no judgment here. We simply start by evaluating your teeth, gums, and overall oral health, then talk through what we find and what your options are moving forward. Our approach is always supportive, not overwhelming. Patients often tell us they feel relieved once they finally take that first step and appreciate how clearly everything is explained. How far in advance do I need to book an appointment?Appointment availability can vary, so the best way to find the soonest opening is to reach out to our office. We’re always happy to check our schedule and help you secure a time that works for you. You can give us a call at (480) 391-0099 or fill out our Request an Appointment form, and we’ll let you know the earliest availability. How do I transfer my dental records to your office? If you're transferring from another dentist, the process is simple—just let us know, and we will help request your records on your behalf. All records are transferred securely to protect your privacy. |
