Many patients find over time gum line areas recede and begin to expose the root of the tooth and in turn make the tooth look “long”. We can now use the patients vary own gum tissue to treat this. The patient has generally one visit for the procedure and a few months of healing. This will aesthetically improve the smile and protect the root and surrounding bone in the future.
